scoutsfan19
During one of the most recent Fan Network webcasts, there was an announcement about submitting pictures for the 2012 age-out ceremony on Friday, August 10. I thought I had read information about that in a DCP forum thread or on DCI's facebook page, but haven't been able to find it in either place or on the DCI website. Maybe I'm not looking in the correct places. Can someone help me find information about submitting pictures? Thank you for your help! During the Atlanta simulcast there was a 30 second message that you could sumbit age out photos to Ageout@dci.org. I don't know how or when they're going to use the photos, but I sent one, and the e-mail didn't get kicked back.

I wonder if DCI is more interested in candid shots, action shots, or individual pictures of the students aging out. Does anyone know what the pictures have been used for in the past? Dylan Ford
When I aged out last year, they displayed all of these photos on the big screen at the age out ceremony. It was pretty cool. I think you can submit any photo of an age out in a drum corps setting (rehearsal, performance, free day, etc.)

Bill M
Last year's slideshow is still on the DCI web site. http://www.dci.org/news/view.cfm?news_id=523ccd8f-de9a-47d2-9310-0844268d9c80 I think they used all of the photos I sent in.
