Agree. Bocook really shines in this kind of "knitting together" that we do in our idiom . . .his transitions are some of my favorite ever (of course, I cut my teeth before I knew what drum corps was listening to his stuff for marching band on the Jensen LPs in the 80s . . .god, I'm old. :tongue: ).

His marching band stock charts are excellent too. While they are written in such a way that you can teach them without a staff, but you can mess around with them to make great competitive band shows.

I do wish he'd write his corps stuff to feature the low brass a bit more. His stuff for Cadets and when he wrote for the Reading Buccaneers tended to sound skewed towards middle and hi brass.

Cadets were on fire!!! Wow! Very impressive tonight. That drill...holy cow, and the total music ensemble is always one of the best. Phantom needs to be on tonight.
