Carolina Crown - Will decide to move to California after this years visit. The Cadets - Will compete against Cadets 2 in the Dream contest. Santa Clara Vanguard - Will now perform halftime for every Santa Clara 49er game. Bluecoats - Will host their "Innovations in Brass" in a snowstorm. Phantom Regiment - Will not use a "baton" this year, but a light laser to go with their theme Madison Scouts - Will march in Boy Scout uniforms this year Cavaliers - Will go back to the shako and white shoes Boston Crusaders - Will go back to the inaugural in Washington DC Spirit of Atlanta - Will have the best guard uniforms of the year Crossmen - Will march 100 horn players in the end of the show Blue Stars - Will bring back First Federal March Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It just shows how hard it is to make Top 12 Finals these days with so many large and talented Corps. dasboot Posted December 24, 2012 Share Posted December 24, 2012 Predictions for 2013, World Class only: 1) Cadets - I have a good feeling about Side by Side also, since I'm auditioning for the Cadets, I'm a little biased. 2) Blue Devils - Come on, this is the safe bet 3) Phantom Regiment - Phantom is better than last year, but the corps above them are even better 4) Carolina Crown - Someone has to fall from the top, and it seems like it will be an off year for them, not sure why 5) Santa Clara Vanguard - See Phantom Regiment 6) Bluecoats - Don't see them falling out of the top 6 7) Boston Crusaders - Hungry to stay strong, so they remain consistent 8) Cavaliers - I just don't see them rebounding quickly after last year's stunning fall from the top 3 9) Madison Scouts - Tough to break into the top 8 these days 10) Spirit of Atlanta - have a good feeling about this one. Interchangeable with Crossmen 11) Crossmen - Being back in finals will draw more talent for them 12) Blue Stars - Hungry to get back into finals ------------------- 13) Blue Knights - Losing Marc Sylvester is going to hurt BK 14) Jersey Surf - Bringing in a huge pool of talent after Bridgemania last year 15) Pacific Crest - Tom Aungst is going to help them, and will drive them up 16) Troopers - Paul Rennick book will help them out 17) Colts - Good show, but hard to move up with everyone improving 18) Academy - Someone has to fall 19) Oregon Crusaders - First year in World Class, got a good feeling about them 20) Glassmen - sorry to do this, but this where my gut tells me they will end up, but I hope I am wrong about this one 21) Mandarins - Seems about right 22) Cascades - see Mandarins 23) Pioneer - they try, but it is just hard to move up sometimes 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Plan9 Posted December 24, 2012 Share Posted December 24, 2012 In conjunction with their West Coast tour together..The Blue Devils and Carolina Crown will blow everyone's mind..literally...with their combined 2013 production: "Haters and Homers". Ala BD 2011, they will switch uniforms mid-show causing the haters and homers in the stands to implode and spontaneously combust... aided partially by the combined brass sections. George will immediately file a complaint with DCI claiming violation of the "I didn't think of it first" rule and demand that future shows be done without hash marks.
