ATXguard Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Has anyone here subscribed to the DCA Fan Network? Just wondering how it compares to WGI and DCI Fan Networks. Quote
Santana Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 (edited) It functions like the DCI fan network. Being new, it doesn't have much video on demand content, yet. Then I saw the first archives of nine corps from last weekend, plus I get next weekend's DCA mini corps, "A" and "Open" Prelims, and the Alumni show. That made me realize......I paid for two shows because I like DCA more than DCI (note: I didn't say they were better, I said I LIKE them more). For me, it is of fair value that will increase each year..... Joe Quote
ATXguard Posted August 27, 2012 Author Posted August 27, 2012 $70 huh? That's the lowest they have? 1 Quote
JoeDz Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 $70 huh? That's the lowest they have? No....$69.95 bought me a one year subscription. You can still purchase individual parts of next weekend (but NOT finals) for $15 to $25 per session. Assuming they are going to establish an archives (like DCI did), I thought it was a reasonable investment in DCA..... 1 Quote
skeptic Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 No....$69.95 You are like the person that will buy something if the price is $199.99 but not if its $200, arent you? Quote
wishbonecav Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 pay per view live is a good value the cameras and production are what you'd expect and last year was a good test run; $29.95 comes with the urgency of sitting still and soaking it in real time. Quote
ATXguard Posted August 27, 2012 Author Posted August 27, 2012 It's just that WGI and DCI are much more affordable ($40 for WGI), plus the vast archives they have make it worth it to me. Will look into this more next season. Thanks! Quote

skeptic Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 how much is DCI? DCIs standard offering is $60 and once the season is over it gets lowered to $40. Quote
