LVKICTuba Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Just got online, missed watching excelsior (was grocery shopping). Here's my reviews of Shenandoah sound and Tradition: Shenandoah Sound (delayed because I was making Lunch): The best I've heard this corps in years. Now just keep the momentum into next year! Tradition: Love the new uniforms, not much else I liked to be honest. Started strong but then died off at the end. Quote
Kamarag Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 For you guys who are there, are the seats in the center section bench style, or buckets with backs? Quote
Brent Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) Sunrisers on next in their traditional uniforms. Royal blue pants, orange tops, wide silver slash, aussie headgear with oorange and white upright ostrich plume. 5 cg, 10 pit, 8 battery, 26 brass Edited September 1, 2012 by Brent Quote
kevingamin Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 Huge opening impact to start the show. Similar to 1990 SCV's opening, being Carmen. Quote
kevingamin Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 For you guys who are there, are the seats in the center section bench style, or buckets with backs? Center seats are bucket seats. Outside the 40 on side 1 are bench seats since that's where the midshipment usually sit. Quote
Brent Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 nice opening statement of Carment with cream and gold flags, immediate change into orange hues of flags. colorguard in red and black tunices with accents of gold. Quote
Todd Tanji Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 The Long Island Sunrisers (in orange) are up. They were DCA champions the first year I attended DCA - 1978! Fran Haring has some great stories about that corps ... 1 Quote
