Bingo!

How much money does Bingo really bring in for a Drum Corps to use? How many corps are actually using Bingo as a fundraising source and for corps that don't use Bingo, how are they financed?

Just wondering...

Another side question, Which Corps have Bingo Halls and which do not?

Troopers bingo hall is part of the generously donated Troopers Center building in Casper. Overhead costs are part of the equation for any nonprofit fundraiser. So, in the case of Trooper bingo, I'm sure it is worth it. Talk to Mat Krum about the current numbers.

While Bingo used to be a cash cow, it is not going to continue to be that way in the future. Many Local, State, and Federal laws are making it harder and harder for non-profits to engage in that activity; Local smoking bans are driving away customers; States are creating many many hoops to jump through mainly so that the gambling revenue will to go to the State Governments through lotteries and Card Scratch; Overhead and Regulations are increasing costs; etc...
