CANDRUMMER Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Anyone know WHERE the Drum Companies get the material they use for "gut snares" these days? It's not the 'traditional gut" we used years ago but a synthetic material. I am refurbishing a couple of 12x15 10 lug LUDWIG Challengers and Slingerland TDR'S and need snares.I can get snsares for 14" LUDWIGS no problem but 15" are very hard to find becuase of the size.
