azul
Thanks, y'all. I did a youtube search and it's been done by other corps...most notably PR. But, I guess I don't have to tell y'all that. I wonder if BK will use it for an encore or if it's in the show? Awaiting further announcements from BK. It's been Pacific Crest's corps song long before Phantom put it on the field....

N.E. Brigand
Video from December camp: http://www.youtube.c...d&v=vOvkEUEQfZ8 What is that music? At the end, I believe it is Franz Biebl's "Ave Maria". Thanks, y'all. I did a youtube search and it's been done by other corps... most notably PR. But, I guess I don't have to tell y'all that. I wonder if BK will use it for an encore or if it's in the show? Awaiting further announcements from BK. It's been Pacific Crest's corps song long before Phantom put it on the field. I'm still rather new to drum corps things... thanks for that info. Renegades also have used it as a regular motif. But the recording of Biebl's "Ave Maria" you absolutely must seek out is on the album Our Heart's Joy by the vocal ensemble called Chanticleer. (They also do a great job with "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" and "Riu, Riu, Chiu".)

RockyGranite
Is that "This Bitter Earth" I hear? This is shaping up to be a very tasty show! It appears the rumor I heard some time ago was true and I am really looking forward to hearing their full drum corps arrangement.
bobchilds
What's with all the negativity about "leaks?" It's February. Potentially a couple hundred people already know something about the theme, concept or repertoire and musicians are already rehearsing the music. And if the corps management has been uploading info to the internet, then the info is already out there. It's not like a secret so big that now there's no point in going to see their show anymore, or that the corps has to change their show for some reason. What is the big deal about the corps being "ready" to make an announcement like this? What is with the suspense? What are they waiting for? Think of it this way... Could knowing in advance that BK was going to play The Firebird last year have spoiled you from enjoying the presentation that made it to the field?
