You know you're old school when...

Recommended Posts

You know you're old school when, as a first-time attendee to a drum corps rehearsal, you laid your hands on a musical instrument for the very first time in your life and went home with an Olds Ultratone Baritone!

Guilty as charged. :lookaround::tongue:

You went to your first rehearsal, and even though you were the youngest in the line, you were put on snare only because you could read music.

You remember when your town had 25 corps in them, and they would get in fights in the parking lot after shows.

Back then, it was the marchers fighting.

Today, the marchers are fine, and the adults in Corps are at one another's throats.

You are " old school " if you remember when it was mostly the marchers in Corps that had to be separated by the adults in Corps, instead of the other way around.
