Galen
Winter blues got you down? Bummed because it's tax time or your favorite team is out of the NCAA tournament? DCPI may be the cure for what ails you! Season 20 will start in mid-June and registration will open in late April. Although this is a live season, finals will not be in Indianapolis. Rather, it will take place in a city that recently celebrated a major sports championship. More hints to come :smile:/>/> I'm happy to see that several new directors have recently registered. Pre-registration will start shortly after April 15th. Galen
Time for another hint- finals will be in an East coast city whose famous residents include a well-known author and a well-known cake baker.

Galen
The full schedule is posted and corps should now be able to submit their tour schedules and caption selections. Here's an exclusive sneak peak at the schedule for our 20th season: The season kicks off on Friday, June 14 following the established regional competition format. The opening weekend will feature the following events: East: Downingtown PA/Lewisburg PA West: Rio Rancho NM/Mesa AZ South: Clearwater FL/Tampa FL Midwest: Middletown WI/Menomonie WI From there, eastern and southern corps will be performing at various venues along the east coast, while the Midwest splits into a 2-leg tour and western corps perform throughout southern California. The first full weekend concludes with a "Summer Getaway" theme of competitions as corps take the field in some of the country's well-known resort towns, including Virgina Beach VA, Myrtle Beach SC and Traverse City MI, among others. Week 2 of the season sees eastern corps venturing up to Canada at the end of the week. Western corps travel up the Pacific Coast to Sacramento CA and Midwest and Southern corps converge in Bowling Green KY for the CLASS Championships. Week 3 falls during the 4th of July weekend, and will feature a special solo event in Boston on July 4th. The week concludes with events for southern and eastern corps in Washington DC. Meanwhile, Midwest corps return to a single-tier schedule, ending the week in Madison WI while western corps venture into the Pacific Northwest for an event in Eugene OR. The first half of the season ends with the regional championships. After a few seasons of selecting smaller regional venues, the mid-season championships will be returning to the larger college and professional venues that they've been at in the past. This year's regionals will take place in Cincinnati OH, Philadelphia PA, Denver CO and Columbia SC. Week 5 is a transitional week as corps are funneled into the middle of the country. Three touring routes will converge at Columbia MO for the FANFARE championships. From there, corps will have the choice of returning east, with major events in Louisville KY and Allentown PA, or heading south for major events in San Antonio TX, Atlanta GA and Orlando FL. Meanwhile, the separate Open and Class A tour makes a return this season, with more than a dozen events exclusively for corps in the smaller divisions. Major events are scheduled in Dayton OH, Malden MA and Raleigh-Durham NC. And finally, as some of you have guessed, the season will indeed conclude in Baltimore MD, a city that will provide an excellent venue to wrap up our 20th season (amazing, isn't it!). Don't miss your chance to take part in this exciting season! Craig III
I noticed there's no corps with the point value of 8. It goes right from Troopers (9) to Jersey Surf (7).
Galen
Oregon Crusaders should be visible as an option as the 8-point corps.

gcurrier
one note on CLASS Championship--since our two largest shows were scheduled for the same night--CLASS Championship will be a split show --so you can be at either Montreal or Bowling Green KY on June 29th. The first joint championship of its kind will include live scores, video feed and updates from each venue to the other. CLASS is truly excited about this new way to crown a champion!
