Everyone must have gone to the party and still sleeping or driving home...

No review of what the corps did as we missed some so we could talk to friends, etc, etc. But great evening for the music and friendship. Ran into and talked to lot of friends ( DCPers and non-DCPers). Only problems were the pizza we had to eat in the cafeteria when we got the there as nothing else hot was availible. Told this was due to a miscommunications and will be a "lesson learned" and corrected for 2014. Other problem was the sloped floor where we sat which caused a real problem when my wife had problems getting up due to her bad leg.

Second part here is a BIG thank you to part of Bridgemens horn line, Cabs flag line and Westshores horn line. For those of you who came down the right side (facing the stage) aisle you had to deal with a short guy and lady in a wheelchair kinda in the way. That was us as that was the safest spot for us to see the second half of the show as using our old seats was not a good idea. We carry the chair in the car when my wife needs go a long distance and walking would wear her out too much. All the corps members handled the tight spot very well and in a nice way. Only smart comment came from a Westshore contra and... hey he's known me for 39 years,,, and he was laughing... Anyone sees us at DCA, stop and say HI so we could thank you personally. Any of you DCPers please feel free to pass the thanks to your fellow corps mates. :worthy:

And I got my picture taken with Freddie Farkel so full evening.....

Tried sending a PM to Dale and screwed up so will do it here in the "open": Well Dale we did meet kind of. As you might guess from above that was me who said "Get 'em Dale" as you went around the corner. Just so you don't wonder "who the heck was that guy?" :tongue:/> Hope to be able to talk for real at a later time.

Thanks!! worthy.gif

Again, if anyone would like a copy of anything I've posted (photos, audios and videos.... when I can get the links to the audios and videos posted) please use as you see fit.

As those that use digital cameras know, you need to take more photos than you think you'll need because of the "digital lag" that WILL make several photos blurry.... I took my usual WAY too many pics hoping some of them will come out OK. Well, more were OK than thrown out so apologies where there are too many photos and apologies were there are too few....

Freddie had to hang with me as I remembered my badge this time....

Seriously a shout out to Steve Young for handling the MC duties.

I knew the answer to his trivia question on when the Buccs first won back-to-back. And I also knew where it happened (up the road in Hershey). Will have to ask him what I won.

Nothing against the Forum/Serenade In Brass crew (they know what I look like shutup.gif/> ) but great weekend NOT to be in dun-tun Harrisburg. Especially at the Walnut Street parking garage down from the Forum.

Just had to drive to the Subie dealer for a new headlight and passed a billboard that said the Dog Show is in town this weekend. Few years ago Serenade and the dog show hit the same night and the doggie crowd left at the same time we tried to get out. Waited 30-40 munites until my sister could get back to the Forum to pick us up. Kept getting text msgs.... real I'm at the ramp.... I'm starting down the ramp.... oh crap ONE both to pay..... FINALLY OUT....

no but it was fun going to the Cobblestone after rehearsal and getting there minutes after a shooting across the street at McDonalds.

Right after an anti violence rally

Never heard of Cobblestone so guessing somewhere near downtown York. Weird thing is my one headlight went out Friday morning and I quick made an appt to get it replaced by end of Friday. No way I was going to be anywhere near York or I-83 and have the other one go out.

Still working with leave paperwork this morning as unplanned and my boss was off.

Question on hold for a while.... nm...

OK, long story but question was about handicapped accessible bathrooms at the school where the concert was held. Talked to facilities at the school district and there was a screw up as grab bars were missing in the one ladies room. Facilities will place bars and check that all bathrooms have the needed equipment.

My wife was 100% spot on.... will be hearing about that for a while...
