alow1119
Are there any that focus on the low brass like crown focuses on high?
normy diploome
Cadets Crown Phantom for me. No one else has really stood out. Cadets 07.... holy ####. quote] If only there were no need for "hash-gate" that evening, I believe that line would have garnered greater recognition, and the BD/Cadets duel would have been even a greater treat for all the fans, even the Californians. Truly great hornlines.

flammaster
Ever since John Meehan took over brass BD has had a lot more low end i notice. PR really is most known for that register though. I really liked Star when they did the contra feature.

BAC91
Phantom Buicks. I great compliment from Ray Fallon the other day: "Very cool Boston year ... You played with some world class baris in '91, no?"
Rannec
I think of two groups: Blue Devils and Cadets. Blue Devils because of, like every section, the raw talent that they bring in year after year. Cadets because of the rep that gets written for them that they take on full out. Jay Bocook is a genius with his writing and doesn't take it easy of baritones, occasionally even the thirds get parts as difficult as the leads (granted lower pitch).
