Star of Indiana website?

Recommended Posts

I know they haven't competed in almost 20 years, but I enjoyed visiting their site from time to time for the memories.

Today their site didn't load in my browser.

Is that the end of Star's online presence?

Even though though it hadn't been updated in maybe over 10 years, it was still a very well done site.

It is still an active domain and appears to still belong to Cook Group. Probably just a connectivity problem on the hosting side.

It's been months and the site is still down.

What a loss of a great resource.

Looks like this might have slipped through the cracks with the loss of Bill Cook. If you'd like, you can still get to the archived version at https://web.archive.org/web/20121024150036/http://www.starofindiana.org/

As an fyi, Archive.org does not include pictures in their archive.

That's really too bad that it's not being maintained. I thought the history of the corps on that site was really well done, and Mr. Cook's "So You Want To Start a Drum Corps" is an excellent article.
