blue_devil_fan9903
Hey everyone, does anyone know what Madison used for sound effects in the beginning of their show for Pirates of Lake Mendota? Thanks
capitalscout
It was primarily three things if I remember correctly: a combination wind and rain machine, a lions roar, and a boatswain's call. Maybe some wind chimes and ice bells as well.

MisterA
That show was great! I wish i could have see it live! That show was amazing live. It was probably one of the most exciting shows of the year. It was definitely my favorite show of the year, and my 2nd favorite MS show of the 90s(behind the JCC show in 99)
MikeN
Saw it live in July - felt it might have been their most sophisticated music in a long while. Truly, truly enjoyed that show - one of my favorite live performances ever. Mike
Rusty
That was the first show my then-fiance (now wife) had ever seen. She loved it, of course.
elmhurstmusiced
Gotta say, appreciating the love for that show. That was my rookie year and I enjoyed every minute of that ride. Great staff, great show, amazing brothers.

elmhurstmusiced
I think we swashed more than Michael Cesario's buckle that night. ####, it still swashes my buckle.
swmstom
The instant roar from the finals-night crowd when that last note was played was amazing. That whole show still gives me chills and is a major reason I decided to march Scouts in 1998.
