Sunrisers Publicity Posted May 22, 2013 Share Posted May 22, 2013 (edited) The Sunrisers are proud to welcome Anthony DeMarino to the creative team for the 2013 season as Artistic Director. Anthony been active in the marching arts activity as a performer and designer for over 25 years. He been a performing member of The Cavaliers, The Imperial Knights, The Caballeros, The Reading Buccaneers and he is also Alumni, having performed with the Sunriser's DCA Championship color guard in 1997-1999. As a performer Anthony has earned a WGI Gold Medal and has been named a DCI Finalist and a DCA World Champion. Anthony is also the designer of many successful color guard programs over the years. Most recently, he created the Mineola High School winter guard program and for the past 12 years he has nurtured that program to become a 5-time WGI top-25 color guard and a 2011 WGI Scholastic A Class Finalist. Anthony is also currently a visual consultant for 2012 WGI Scholastic World Class Champions, Flanagan High School. He has also recently consulted for the WGI Open Class Medalist, West Orange HS winter guard. We are thrilled to welcome him to the team.
