chadwick Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 A little mix of what I want to see with what I don't think is out of the realm of possibility. The spread is in (). 1. Carolina Crown 2. THeShadeOfNight Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 (edited) Why not 1. Carolina Crown 2. Cadets 3. Blue Devils 4. Bluecoats 5. Phantom Regiment 6. Santa Clara Vanguard 7. Madison Scouts 8. Spirit of Atlanta 9. The Cavaliers 10. Boston Crusaders 11. Blue Knights 12. Blue Stars 13. Crossmen 14. Troopers 15. The Academy 16. The Colts 17. skywhopper Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I'm not going to even try to guess scores, but I think Cadets will surprise us all: 1. The Cadets 2. Carolina Crown 3. Blue Devils 4. Bluecoats 5. Santa Clara Vanguard 6. Phantom Regiment 7. Madison Scouts 8. The Cavaliers 9. Blue Knights 10. Spirit of Atlanta 11. Boston Crusaders 12. Blue Stars 13. Crossmen 14. Troopers 15. Colts 16. DrumcorpsmademeaTuba Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Anyway, my little rant about people including corps that won't be at the Regional aside, I could use a bit of a delving into tomfoolery. 1. Carolina Crown - 87.05 1. Blue Devils - 87.05 3. Santa Clara Vanguard - 85.9 4. Cadets - 85.45 5. Bluecoats - 84.5 6. Phantom Regiment - 82.5 7. Madison Scouts - 80.7 8. Cavaliers - 79.3 9. Blue Stars - 78.5 9. Blue Knights - 78.5 11. Spirit of Atlanta - 77.95 12. Boston Crusaders - 75.4 13. Crossmen - 74.0 13. Colts - 74.0 15. Troopers - 73.2 16. Academy - 70.3 17. Cascades - 59.6 2 Quote

Cascades Haven't got a clue about the rest of them but between Bluecoats, Phantom, Madison, and Cavies, any order is quite possible and with Cavies rapid rise lately I doubt they'll be the lowest of them. And Spirit won't come anywhere close to any of them. They've had plenty of head-to-heads with Scouts and Cavies lately and the judges put plenty of daylight between them. I've seen them live twice in the last ten days and they don't have a package to put them anywhere in that range. 1 Quote

BRASSO Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 All of World Class corps except for 5 are there. Top 17 from last year(minus Glassmen who are inactive) and Cascades. Corps missing from this lineup include Pacific Crest, Mandarins, Oregon Crusaders, Jersey Surf, and Pioneer. Scores and placements have been all over the board so far, so what are your predictions for the first major show of the season? This seems like one of those years where every regional could have different placements among each grouping. For example the top 3 seem to be Crown, BD and Cadets, and it wouldn't surprise me if each corps won a different regional. I also think the 4th through 8th grouping could keep changing placements. And once you get to 9th-19th, it seems to be anybody's guess as to what could happen. My predictions for Minneapolis 1. Carolina Crown 86.7 2. Blue Devils 86.4 3. Cadets 85.9 4. SCV 84.1 5. Cavaliers 82.7 6. Phantom Regiment82.55 7. Madison Scouts 80.3 8. Bluecoats 79.15 9. Blue Knights 76.2 10. Boston Crusaders75.8 11. Blue Stars 74.7 12. Academy 72.8 13. Spirit 72.6 14. Crossmen 72.4 15. Colts 71.7 16. Troopers 71.4 17. Cascades 57.6 This sure would be a fall off for the Pacific Crest to go from scoring in the 70's and ranked in the top 12 to out of the top 17 and not be able to hit the high 50's come Minny. 1 Quote

Gave you a + because someone had given you a -, and I see no reason for that. What they should've done instead was tell you that Pacific Crest isn't going to be at Minneapolis. 2 Quote
