I need to listen to the source music. I may have to buy those CDs.

I saw it live and I still don't get the poles. Sorry.

I'm with ya. I'm not a big prop person but some of them are tasteful and add to the show .... and then there are props that are props for the sake of having props. Personally I find the poles to be distracting to the whole show.

The further they stray from the source material the less I'm into it. I will be a little disappointed if this turns out to be a championship show, but I think there's a little too much hate.

The Stravinsky or the modern jazz arrangements they're basing their show on?

BDs just flipped the switch. They're going to be the ones to beat!!! IMHO

I still don't get it. Even the Troopers drill is more demanding than this stuff

That's just blatantly false.

Coming from members (of BD) this is easily the hardest show at least since 2010.

I love hyperbole.

BD was really good tonight. Crown and Cadets better bring their A games

BD still has issues - intervals, some unusual (for them) brass issues etc - but overall a very solid and balanced corps between all captions

Well done!

I didn't like BD much in Minnesota- but I enjoyed them in Tennessee- I'm warming up to it too- there too much d***m talent not to.

I'm entirely confused as to where the idea that scatter drills and the like that BD's drill is so reviled for grew a reputation as being inherently easier than traditional drill. I was even laughed out of a conversation once for suggesting that the difference in difficulty, if any, was negligible.
