hughesmr
All corps members must be residents of their corps' home state for at least one year prior to the start of camps for a given competitive season.
alumniof
Stop complaining about how it used to be and enjoy how it is now. Its not enjoyable is the point and I won't be nor will my guests. Enjoy yourself and keep your kids off my lawn. And no....I would not like to make a donation to your band.

jonnyboy
I like the idea of limiting the DCI BOD to non corps directors.
jonnyboy
For the thread "In 1 sentence- what 1 thing would you change about DCP". Teach posters that calling someone a Dino because they disagree with them is not an argument, it is the opposite of an argument.
skywhopper
I'm cool with all the visual/dance stuff, any-key brass, 150 members, etc so my sentence would be: "Restore the 2003 instrumentation rules: no amps, no mikes, no synth, no mixing board, and the only electricity allowed is battery-powered vibes."

garfield
Make recruiting and try-outs an Indy-centric event. One week in the fall, a second week in February. If you want to try out, go to Indy. If you want to recruit, go to Indy. Auditions are performed in front of all directors and staff, at once. Let the judges "bid" on potential members in an open marketplace in Indy (LOS would do nicely), where the performer chooses where to march based on his offers of reduced fees. Sorry, that's not four sentences. I'm not good with numbers.
skajerk
Electronics I can pretty much handle... to a point. Get rid of the "thunderous goo" and doubling the brass, (e.g., the bottom end), and I'll be fine, but get rid of the mic'd vox and/or samples.
