Galen
So one of the things I want to make sure happens this season is to keep the momentum in participation going from this season to the next. Last season's offseason turnout was disappointingly low, even by off-season standards. So, I'm debating postponing the rules council that normally takes place after the DCA season ends back later in the fall, perhaps around Halloween or later, and also maintain more contact with directors during the offseason to gauge their interest in offseason participation. To be honest I was considering not even doing another offseason after season 19's low turnout, but the number of new directors that have turned out this season as well as the return of some longtime veterans has been encouraging. I'd be eager to hear directors' thoughts on what we can do to make the offseason more enjoyable and improve turnout- feel free to post your ideas here. hostrauser
That was why I posted that head's up thread a few weeks ago. I like both of your ideas. We just need to stay more active and engaged with the directors.
StarOrg
I like both as well just we need to make sure we keep in communication. Usually we do rules when we have the directors attention at the end of a season. One idea I would love to see for non-live season is using a past set of years for scoring. I understand that this requires some caption structure work and some data mining as well. I am willing to assist. Just be fun if we could pick from the likes of Star of Indiana..Velvet Knights...Freelancers...
JonW
I can get moving on a new Season XXI banner and anything else you might want to aid in promotions.
