corps8294
Doesn't this happen every year for the Scouts?
kevingamin
Horn line is just wailing right now in Night on Bald Mountain, especially the mellos.
kevingamin
We have boots on the ground. Mission is a go. The percussive machine gun effects interspersed with the recorded effects is, well, very effective. I like the sopranos in front of the snares pretending to fire in time with their sound. HornTeacher
So, they penalize SCV-C for warming OUTSIDE A DOME, but the mid-pack corps that took a giant dump on the lower corps in Allentown got a free pass? That's such bull####. If what you say is indeed true, then I fully and whole-heartedly agree.
kevingamin
The guard member running across the snare drum heads, while something right out of indoor percussion, is still a great moment.
kevingamin
Another machine gun style effect is the killer double tonguing by the trumpets during the battle movement of the show.

KPinCAL
There is no way that all the veterans in the stands like this show- it can be a bit over the top at moments
kevingamin
The entire corps now lies on the field, save for one "lone survivor". Taps echos as the corps starts singing their song. Madison alum standing up in the stands to join their brothers on the field.
