THE DREAM ... if you made one show a year, it HAD to be this one ... :-) That Dream was the First Time I went to it. I was a Fan in the Stands. Who knew within 4 years, I would be Marching in the Jr, Division of it. Then years later in the Sr. Division.
rayfallon
Pepe Nataro: (as close as I can remember - fill in the Brooklyn accent in your head): "I always thought (sounds like taught) that (dat - you get it) when you die you would get to the gates of Heaven and St Peter would be there wit' a St Vinnies' jacket and would ask each person as they came up to the gate 'Who wuz you wit'? 'Didja ever win da Dream?'" Cracked me up... man I wish someone had thought of video taping like 4 hours of Pepe just talking about drum corps, life, etc. Funniest man I ever knew...

TomPeashey
Our performance through the thunder and lightning and even a few "dust devils", and the audience refusing to leave the seats while we were still playing was one of the highlights of my career... 1965 Grey Knight Post Crusaders
