drilltech1
Now there's something different... a Minnesota corps coming to Maryland in late August to escape the heat!!! :tongue:/> Will they have an advantage when dealing with the heat and humidity of Maryland? The Minnesotans have still not completely thawed out from last winter!!!

scv guy
Going to be a far cry from the weather last year. That was pure hell for a San Francisco guy like me. I think I sweated off about 10 pounds at last year's DCA. Our summers here are in the mid 50s to low 60s with lots and lots of fog and cool weather (the tourists think it's going to be like LA here...wrong!). Hope there aren't any thunderstorms like last year. The rain delay was pretty long. Edited August 31, 2013 by scv guy
N.E. Brigand
Grr. Now NOAA says: "Tonight -- Scattered showers and thunderstorms before 11pm, then scattered showers after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 74. South wind 9 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Sunday -- A slight chance of showers between 8am and noon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. South wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Sunday Night -- A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. South wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms." Well, it was a 70% chance last year, so there's yet hope.
