I have been out of the loop post season. Though I want the corps to be

great this season, all of this news does make me quite concerned. Seems

there are some untold issues in Spirit land. I do see some familiar names on the

staff list which is great. They will have their work cut out for them for sure.

Seems a fair amount of the members are going elsewhere to audition for 2014. While I know this happens

in most corps not consistently placing in the top, seems an unusual amount of people I know that

said they were very happy there and would not leave. I too am curious as to what has happened

for such a staff turn over. I hope all the best for them. I have loved the shows since 2010.

I don't think this is an issue of 'something happening' at SOA. I think those on staff at SOA decided it was time to move on to other things. I think a lot of us forget that most working for corps, at all levels from the bottom to the top, get paid very, very, little and there are a lot of demands put on them. It shouldn't be too shocking that this happens when you have an environment like this.
