Lincoln
I got nipped by one in the crotch as a child at a local park. I consistently have night terrors and have an everlasting fear of those beasts. Here's a video of them in action. http://youtu.be/oIk4c03iHJc
jjeffeory
Here's a video of them in action. http://youtu.be/oIk4c03iHJc Well, they're very aggressive. Wouldn't like them at all.

What a perfect vehicle for this corps!!!!!Maybe, but not with their current staff. No matter what they do, the staff (arranger especially) needs some heavy counseling from Jim Wren in order to get the full PR "sound effect." Deep, dark, rich and soulful and keeping true to the original score, which is an extremely valuable and difficult art, all its own, in DCI. J.D. had a unique way of doing it too. They (PR) need to stop trying to look and sound like other big name corps (they don't have the resources for it). In the seasons where they dropped back to their "roots" great things happened. Nothing wrong with being avant garde in drum corps, but there is an art to doing it right and not everyone is capable of doing it well. Lincoln
I see from Allentown that Phantom has new orange flags in their show - during the music from the Dracula ballet. They are very effective!

TexasPRfan
I see from Allentown that Phantom has new orange flags in their show - during the music from the Dracula ballet. They are very effective! Agreed - they are. Having not seen them since San Antonio, the whole show has grown a great deal. The hornline sounds fantastic, with a powerful, dark, lush sound. The ballad is starting to sell very well, too, and the last seconds of the show is not as weak as it was. Quite amazing what they've done compared to what they came out with in June. With all those rookies, they future could be bright if they can garner a high return rate. Besides next year, this year's show is now among my top 6 shows this year, which I didn't at all think could happen earlier in the season. Keep pushing, Phantom!
KVG_DC
Yeah. The dark round brass sound is MUCH improved since mid season. It makes this show much nicer.
