LegalEagle50
Kennedy Stadium - Bridgeport, CT ... home to the 65 WO ... 66 & 67 DCA ... Barnum Festival since 65 ... and numerous dc shows through the 60's 70's and 80's ... rich, lush, thick natural grass throughout the 60's-80's ... replaced by artf turf around 2005 ... :-) 2000
MotoSurfBass
I would have to say either Bridgeport or PPL Park in Chester
Dan Detweiler
Well maintained, DRY grass gets my vote every time. Certainly the easiest on these old joints! I always liked Whitewater back in the day ( if they would just cut it a little shorter!). Dan
ShutUpAndPlayYerGuitar
Here here. Best field I ever marched on was at Crew Stadium in Columbus OH, even better than most artificial turf fields. Second that. Superior to the best artificial surfaces. I can't tell you how much I love the turf of that stadium (as well as the stadium itself). It'd be nice if DCA could host finals there (even though it's in the the middle of MLS season ... I was surprised DCI had a show there in the first place).
