Skyliners to Perform with Wyoming Valley West Concert Band

Recommended Posts

May 21, 2014. The Skyliners Drum & Bugle Corps are proud to announce that the Skyliners’ brass section will perform a special number with the Wyoming Valley West High School Concert Band at the band’s Annual Spring Concert on June 1st, 2014. The concert starts at 2:00 P.M. at Wyoming Valley West High School at 150 Wadham Street, Plymouth, PA 18651.

In the past, guest artists have performed with the Wyoming Valley West High School Concert Band at their Spring Concert. This year, High School Band Director Andy Kolojejchick invited the brass line of the Skyliners Drum & Bugle Corps to be the guest performers.

The Skyliners, a competitive DCA (Drum Corps Associates) drum and bugle corps, have been rehearsing at Wyoming Valley West High School since November 2013. The corps warmly thanks Band Director Andy Kolojejchick, the High School administration and the Board of Directors for their support in allowing our organization to utilize this fantastic school facility as we prepare for the 2014 competitive season. We invite you to join us at Wyoming West Valley High School’s Spring Concert.

For those interested in marching this summer, it is not too late! Contact us at join@sky2014.org. LOL - just tried it and see the problem..... the internal link is missing a period in front of "org". IOW www.Sky2014org and not www.Sky2014.org ..... What shows in the post is OK... but ain't what the browser goes to....

PS like the idea, Lancers will do the Memorial Day parade in Hanover tomorrow and the corps and local bands do a combined "America" at a local cemetery. Bands and corps together is a good sound.....
