Madison Scouts Volunteers Needed

Spring training is almost over and the Madison Scouts still have several openings for volunteer positions. Below is a break down of the jobs available and dates needed. Email volunteers@madisonscouts.org if you think you'd be able to help!

Food Crew Kitchen volunteers work with others to provide four meals a day to two hundred members and staff. It is a fast-paced and physically demanding role in a hot environment. The right candidates are in good health, able to lift 25 pounds, not afraid of getting a little messy, and can join us for 4-8 days. Currently we are in need of food crew volunteers June 20th - July 31st.

Merchandise Truck Driver We are in need of a driver for our merchandise operations which includes a 26-foot box truck towing a 15-foot trailer. A CDL is not required, but you do need to be experienced in driving larger size vehicles and towing trailers. The driver is required to drive overnight, meaning you will need to adjust your sleep schedule appropriately. The driver needs to assure the vehicle is fueled and maintained properly, assist with the hookup of the trailer, and follow all of our safety protocols. Currently, we need a driver for July 7th - July 19th and July 26th - August 9th.

Merchandise Team This group travels separately from the corps and their work begins several hours before the show starts. Each location requires that our storefront be assembled, optimized, and taken down afterwards. You need to keep track of inventory, accurately manage cash and credit card transactions, and engage customers during their visit to our store. You need to have an outgoing personality and a knack for retail sales. Currently, we have spots open June 20th - June 30th and July 13th - August 3rd.
