N.E. Brigand
4. 62.70 - Music City (7/12 La Crosse, WI) [-1.90 7/9] 11. 57.75 - Louisiana Stars (7/13 Muscatine, IA) Just two scores tonight. Music City's score dropped again, and we now have a four-way tie for fourth place. Tomorrow again just one show, with Genesis joining tonight's two competitors. N.E. Brigand
4. 62.40 - Genesis (7/8 Dubuque, IA) [+2.10 7/6] 4. 62.40 - Music City (7/14 Lebanon, IL) [-0.30 7/12] 8. 60.35 - Louisiana Stars (7/14 Lebanon, IL) [+2.60 7/13] Louisiana Stars continued to do quite well in their third show; their fourth and final competition isn't for another six days. Genesis moves into a solid third, which means that Music City, despite improving by more than a point, drops from fourth to fifth. No Open Class corps compete on Wednesday, but Thursday sees another corps debut: Guardians, who will appear in just two shows this year. How will they do? N.E. Brigand
There will apparently be no scores for the Round Rock show, which was called after intermission due to lightning (not lightening), and for which apparently only five of eight judges were on site, the others being prevented from appearing to due flooding. The Guardians posted on their Facebook page that their unofficial score tonight was 62.30, which would put them in seventh place--just ahead of the Louisiana Stars. They next appear Saturday night in San Antonio, where they are sure to get an official score in their last show this year; as was the case tonight, they will be joined by Genesis. Five other Open Class corps will compete Saturday in Manchester, including the season debut for Les Stentors.
N.E. Brigand
3. 66.90 - Genesis (7/15 Bentonville, AR) [+4.7 7/8] 4. 64.40 - 7th Regiment (7/5 Lynn, MA) [+3.10 7/3] 6. 62.40 - Spartans (7/5 Lynn, MA) [+2.40 7/3] 10. 58.25 - Legends (7/13 Muscatine, IA) [-2.20 7/12] 16. 48.45 - Racine Scouts (7/12 La Crosse, WI) [-1.45 7/10] Guardians (second show 7/19 [no score at 7/17 show]) Stentors (first show 7/19) Hail and farewell, Guardians, whose one and only score for this season puts them in tenth. Genesis drops slightly in score but three places because of the very high scores in Manchester, which saw Legends improve more than fourteen points in one week and move into third place. And we have a tie for first! Stentors debuts with a score just below that of Racine.
N.E. Brigand
6. 65.500 - Genesis (7/19 San Antonio, TX) [-1.40 7/15] 8. 62.000 - Louisiana Stars (7/15 Bentonville, AR) [+1.65 7/14] Just two scores tonight. A very impressive first season for Louisiana Stars--I hope we see much more of them next year! Two days off for O.C. corps follow.
N.E. Brigand
1. 75.500 - Spartans (7/19 Manchester, NH) [+13.10 7/5] (scored on old O.C. sheets?) 1. 75.500 - 7th Regiment (7/19 Manchester, NH) [+11.10 7/5] (scored on old O.C. sheets?) 3. 72.600 - Legends (7/19 Manchester, NH) [+14.35 7/13] (scored on old O.C. sheets?) 6. 67.000 - Genesis (7/21 Dallas, TX) [+1.50 7/19] 12. 60.100 - Stentors (7/19 Manchester, NH) (scored on old O.C. sheets?) 19. 47.400 - Raiders (6/28 Jackson, NJ) Coastal Surge (first show 7/24) Down to earth for the Manchester corps (except for Racine Scouts, who don't compete again until Sunday). Even so, the pair from the northeast dropped less than they had gained, and maintain a lead. The next big test is Paw Paw on Saturday, where 7th Regiment sees the Vanguard Cadets. N.E. Brigand
2. 70.300 - 7th Regiment (7/24 Johnsonburg, PA) [-5.20 7/19] 3. 69.500 - Genesis (7/24 Johnsonburg, PA) [+2.50 7/21] 4. 68.700 - Legends (7/24 Johnsonburg, PA) [-3.70 7/19] 7. 67.700 - Vanguard Cadets (7/13 Cerritos, CA) [-0.45 7/12] 9. 62.900 - Raiders (7/24 Johnsonburg, PA) [+15.50 6/28] 13. 59.800 - Coastal Surge (7/24 Johnsonburg, PA) 17. 51.500 - Stentors (7/24 Johnsonburg, PA) [-8.60 7/19] Not surprisingly, there is a new leader, now that the O.C. tour has begun in earnest. Besides SCVC, the other big gain was by Stentors: four points in two days.
N.E. Brigand
2. 71.900 - Spartans (7/24 Johnsonburg, PA) [-3.60 7/19] 5. 68.600 - Blue Devils B (7/13 Cerritos, CA) [+0.05 7/12] 12. 60.400 - Racine Scouts (7/19 Manchester, NH) [+11.95 7/12] (scored on old O.C. sheets?) 19. 50.050 - Colt Cadets (7/13 Muscatine, IA) [-5.60 7/10] 24. 42.450 - Blue Saints (7/12 La Crosse, WI) [+0.60 7/11] For the second night in a row, we have a new leader. And in a fun twist this year, BDB won't see SCVC until O.C. Prelims on Aug. 4. That should be a fun night.
N.E. Brigand
1. 75.050 - Blue Devils B (7/27 Greendale, WI) [+6.45 7/13] 2. 73.400 - Vanguard Cadets (7/26 Paw Paw, MI) [+5.70 7/13] 3. 73.000 - Spartans (7/27 Greendale, WI) [+2.10 7/24] 6. 68.600 - Music City (7/25 Nashville, TN) [+4.90 7/15] 16. 56.900 - Racine Scouts (7/27 Greendale, WI) [-3.50 7/19] 21. 47.300 - Blue Saints (7/27 Greendale, WI) [+4.85 7/12] The leaders are unchanged. Music City moves into fourth. That may change after 7th Regiment and Genesis play tonight at Troy. Tomorrow Gold finally gets into the mix at St. Paul.
