Promising update from local meteorologist Steve Mccauley:

"Here is the latest Tech model output, and as you can see, it still thinks strong storms will fire rapidly just west of the Metroplex and move in between 7 PM and 9 PM this evening. But looking at the satellite imagery, THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THIS WILL HAPPEN. The atmosphere has not been able to recover from its multi-inch rains from earlier today even though our upper-level disturbance will pass directly overhead this evening.

The rising air with this disturbance will likely set off heavy storms SE of the Metroplex where the atmosphere has not been worked over like ours has been.

Therefore, additional showers are possible locally, but the heavy rain threat appears to be over for the immediate area."

So does anyone have tickets to sell for tonight's show? Now that the show is a definite go, I'm going!

Sitting in the stands enjoying the nice cool weather and the great music. There's a bit of drizzle but nothing bad so far.

GO OC!

Yeah...I'm not seeing that either. Nothing as of yet....still optimistic that the show will be dry for the most part...funny though that the round rock show looks to be affected now, not funny funny, just crazy how that worked out
