CrownBariDad
I didn't see a thread on this, but DCI has posted a mini-cam view of the Cavies' show with a camera attached to a marimba and another one attached to a marimba player. View it here. Not for those who suffer from vertigo during Danse Macabre. Enjoy!
Hook'emCavies
I am not sure if this has been talked about on dcp, but I love this feature! It's absolutely brilliant!!!!
flammaster
I just got finished watching that show (again) and I saw this. Love the show. Cavies have always had solid pit. (and battery)
Splooie99
If I was a percussionist and I saw that, I would want to try marimba. LOL That was awesome. Talk about a ton of notes!
CrownBariDad
I played Comedians Gallop once in college on xylophone and barely got thru it (I'm really a trombonist). Those guys have my total respect and awe.

drumcorpsfever
It's ranks as a definite "moment" for the 2014 season.
Cappybara
I can't imagine the amount of practice it takes to learn a NORMAL marimba part (and the use of 4 sticks baffles me. That type of coordination is crazy to me) part let alone add the drill for the marimbas as well as switching spots with other marimba players.
