At least half of the point of DCI is to create great music and having someone talk over it makes no sense at all. Would anyone tolerate someone doing a play-by-play of a concert put on by the Cleveland Orchestra? Heck no! With that said, I think it would be awesome if DCI released all the judging tapes on the fan network. Not only would it be interesting and educational to see how these shows are judged, but it would also put the pressure on judges to be able to justify their scores.
