Ok, now this is a great example of terrible use of voice-over. The kid actually performs it well, much like the kid in the Academy Cabaret show, but it's not written well and is completely unnecessary. There are so many breaks in the music to cram the voice in...

When was a weather app released for Super Nintendo?

Fiance: kids need to go to bed soon me: dude...needs to be loud!!! Her 9yr old daughter: isn't Vanguard coming on soon?? Her 6yr old son: what's Bandguard?? 9yr old: it's VANguard!! Me: face

Maybe it's time for you to go. Sometimes activities/sports/whatever can and do pass you by.

The scarecrows hair gets more strawlike every performance.

I've heard performances that try to generate this same effect and they're doing a decent job of it.

Not a fan of the singer, sorry. I see they keep shortening her part though and the whole trumpet stuff is gone.

I think this is the firsr time I've actually heard that girl's voice singing. Usually the mic is out.

They should have paid a professional to record the narration. Unless it's written in the script male voice to sound like 16 year old girl. Or at least given him acting and voice lessons. Not his fault, just untrained. I love the music and the rest of the show, it's just too bad about the voice.
