SaxmanSilver
I didn't mention it because I didn't think it was relevant.
ShortAndFast
^ Now that would be nice to see. I know that in the event of a tie for first, GE score determines the tiebreaker, but what about ties for other places? I would like to see ties. There are no longer any tiebreakers, as of a rules change in 2009. If #1 and #2 tie at finals, they are both champions.
critter
Do they actually give medals for 2nd and 3rd, or are we just borrowing that term from the Olympics?
SaxmanSilver
Yes, 2nd and 3rd get medals. So do 4 - 12.

BoyWonder1911
Looks like Bluecoats' only chance to taking silver are to clean their colorgaurd, and clean their feet. If they can tie those with Cadets, over overtake by a 10th of a point, they can get silver. Everything else that they can do to practice tomorrow to get better are those two things. Everything else they are either up on the Cadets, or is design-related, things they can do nothing about now except pray the judges see it their way. Unless they have some sort of "secret weapon" they are going to deploy...but at this point it may be too risky...but then again a show like "Tilt" is risky in itself. Good luck to them tomorrow, would really like to see them get a silver!
oldbandguy
Do they actually give medals for 2nd and 3rd, or are we just borrowing that term from the Olympics? The top 3 corps members receive bronze, silver and gold medals. The other corps members, 4-12, get finalist medals.
RockEuph
BD was undefeated all season long in '08 until Finals Night; and you can pretty much see the same trend with Madison catching SCV at semis in '88. Just because the Bluecoats haven't beaten the Cadets yet this year doesn't mean they won't. Cavies beat BD at Allentown in 08.
Corps_Efan
As Americans, we are compelled to cheer for our country because we are proud to be Americans. But, there's a difference between asking an audience to stand up and cheer vs an audience standing up and cheering of their own volition. Cadets' show finale asks you to stand. Bluecoats show does not ask you to stand but you just can't help it because the show is THAT GOOD.
drumcorpsfever
Corps_Efan: you get it! The Bluecoats show is THAT GOOD! Those of us who are Bluecoats fans have felt that way all season long. It's so exciting to see so many new and renewed fans join the ranks. I know you know what I'm talking about. You can see it. You can feel it! The marching members believe it. Their excitement and exuberance for their show bleeds bloo in the stands. Tonight, Lucas Oil will be bubbling orange! Bloooooo!!!!!
