Another TILT - the meaning of Hymn of Acxiom

The best is the last phrase before Amen..."Is...That...Wrong?"

And that is the only lyrics the Bluecoats used in their fantastic version. But most of the time you could barely hear the sample voice singing that because of the applause lasting through that moment...

Followed by "isn't that what you want?" meaning we not only accept but choose to be under constant online surveillance for the good of commercialism. The song is downright creepy! Worked for Nevermore. Worked for Tilt.

The voice is actually just a generic "ah" sound

Nope. The pit plays a recording: "Is...That...Wrong..."

Now I have to listen very carefully. That's cool!

yes, I remember hearing the voice over "is that wrong?" live at Massillon and on FN. Its a processed voiceover, with some distortion, not straight voice recording, so its hard to distinguish.

Y'all have noticed the capital letters in "to wALk Or ruN in wEst harlem" right? and the increasingly sped up footsteps in the source material. It has it's own creepifying factor as well. A great lead in to the Hymn when put together. There was a lot to discover in this show's source material.
