kevingamin
Tradition only has three pit players. First time I noticed that. The show opens with Fanfare & Allegro. The brass forms a block on the 50 with a solo rifle performing in front of them. Good sound from the ensemble as they finish the opening fanfare. Percussion now gets a feature. 3 snares, 2 tenors, 4 basses, no cymbals. The guard now uses compass arrows as equipment, one side silver with a black N for north, the other side black with a silver N.

Kamarag
Well, this is far and away the best corps Cincinnati has ever put out. Well done, guys.
kevingamin
After the opener, the corps turns backfield with the drum line moving up front and removing their equipment. They join the pit and play timpani as well as other instruments.
kevingamin
Well, this is far and away the best corps Cincinnati has ever put out. Well done, guys. This is much improved over yesterday, too. The balance and blend in the brass is strong. Tighter attacks and releases, too.
kevingamin
This ballad portion of the show features melodies from Shenandoah, Appalachian Spring, and other Americana selections. The corps turns back front and returns to Shenandoah.
