Dan Detweiler
Just a quick "Good Luck" to all our drum corps brothers and sisters across the pond as they enter into their Championship weekend. May you all have "good show and good hair"! Dan
N.E. Brigand
And one of the competitors, Kidsgrove Scouts, have announced their intention to compete in DCA again next year.
Fran Haring
Go Kidsgrove!!! Go Heartliner!!!
FrankBeMe
Was a great finals. The top three--The Company, Kidsgrove and Jubal--were far above the rest. The three were separated by .25 after prelims with Kidsgrove ontop. The Company put on a great show, as did the others, in finals and won by .85 over Kidsgrove. Heartliner placed 10th. They seemed smaller and a bit younger than last season when they came over for DCA. One thing that was impressive in most of the corps was the sound of the hornlines. Several corps in premier class had less than 20 brass. The top four, maybe five, had over 20. Couldn't count fast enough to see if anyone had over 30. Kidsgrove and Jubal looked like they might have had that many.
Florida Sun
How many corps completed in total ? How many classes ?
TomPeashey
for this championship there's just 2 classes... I think they intentionally limit it to 10 corps in each class... go to www.drumcorpseurope.org there somewhere you will also find "European Ranking" which shows more than 10 corps in each class but apparently only 10 are accepted for the championship...

Yes, the rankings page lists 27 Premiere corps (13 of whom participated in Prelims, 10 in Finals) and 14 Junior corps (6 of whom participated in Finals).

Florida Sun
Loved the Companys show .hate to think if they competed in DCA where they would place .I'd say right up there in the top
