2000Cadet
I wonder if "The Power of 10" is in any way a reference to the Cadets' 10 DCI championships. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRB5mjocF0s&list=FLBe2jD7TrdgAIzpTMIUcimA To answer your question, no. They could've easily performed it in 2010 instead of that God-awful Little Geoffrey show. Reference the link. 2010 was 5 years ago. Let it go. Cadevilina Crown
Reference the link. 2010 was 5 years ago. Let it go. That was my attempt at being creative with the year ending in the number 10.
xandandl
2000Cadet is right. You would have still been getting in on kiddie prices then, right? Don't fall into the DCP trap of being a bitter old disappointed fogey. Be forward thinking, positive, and energetic to be truly creative. That is all. Thanks for your interest.
HornTeacher
And if I remember my Algebra, it could be equal to anything. It can be equal to anything. But the math world being no different than any other...it's more equal to anything than other things.
xandandl
H.T., You are referencing the wrong cross-strap and buckle. That's Boston 2014. Back to Shosty and Cadets. Lady MacBeth awaits.
mrjaydub
These video clips... my goodness. 2015 is going to be good! http://www.dci.org/news/view.cfm?news_id=787e25b4-4b91-47b7-9f13-8b64bd53947d
xandandl
Most probably are aware that the East Coast "blizzard" and "bombogenesis" has grounded Mr. Hopkins and deferred Mr. MacNutt from meeting today with composer Jay Bocook to work out the middle of the 2015 Shosty show. Instead, since DCI has yet to allow jet-paks, they will be skype-ing, phoning, and swapping midis. My question to Cadet nation is: is this hurdle for the better, about the same, or limiting the creativity possibilities as the design team dances with Lady MacBeth? Does long distance designing change the product? Edited January 26, 2015 by xandandl
