msmoyercdcg Posted August 6, 2015 Share Posted August 6, 2015 Saw the show on fan network several times and just wasn't feeling it. My opinion completely changed when I saw it live. It's beautiful! The Phantomettes are lovely and very clean. Underrated in my opinion. Phantom was one of my favorite performances at DCI East this year. Guard staging is the most important aspect of drill design IMO, and the guard is consistently staged very well. The motion makes musical sense most of the time. Not a ton of 'wow factor', but I can live with that as long as it is smart and functional. which it is.
