ladyoneproductions
The St Louis screening is quickly approaching and we are almost out of time to hit our tipping point. Now is the moment to rally your friends & encourage everyone to buy tickets. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Gatekeepers Soundsport Team, but only if the ticket quota is met. The event will be cancelled if there aren't enough tickets sold. No tickets will be available at the door. Buy them here (http://gathr.us/screening/9955), and spread the word! Thursday, February 19 7:30pm Wehrenberg St. Clair 10 Cine, 50 Ludwig Drive, Fairview Heights, IL 62208 For more details on the St Louis viewing you can visit here:https://www.facebook.com/events/1034693433213137/ Buy your tickets HERE: http://gathr.us/screening/9955

ThunderBrigade
If you're holding out until the last second for one of these screenings, remember that you're not charged until the screening goes through. It's a zero risk proposition to you! (and it will also help lower the blood pressure of the screening organizer).
Gigantic Cranium
Phantom Regiment posted on their social media channels about the upcoming Dekalb, IL screening date (Feb 26th) at the Egyptian Theater, but there are less than two weeks to reserve tickets. If the ticket minimum is not reached then the screening will be canceled. Purchase tickets here: http://gathr.us/screening/10341 They also posted a link to an article in the Northern Star newspaper about the screening. The article mentions that current and former members of the Northern Illinois University are going to do a Q&A after the screening. It will be a chance for them to communicate to the audience how the marching arts has impacted their lives. Dekalb used to be a hot bed for drum corps, being the home of the DCM regional every year. I know I have found memories of that event. Please spread the word to anyone you know who's within driving distance of Dekalb. And thanks again to Phantom Regiment for the plug! Guest MadisonScoutsVolunteers
"Scouts Honor" is a documentary film that follows the 2012 Madison Scouts on their journey from audition camp to finals night. It follows 3 members, one from the brass line, one from the drumline, and one in the colorguard, throught their personal struggles and stories about their experience within the organization. Two alumni who are professionals in the movie industry are the filmmakers. It's been doing well in the small festival circuit, but currently, distribution is limited to a theater on-demand style. I have requested a screening in DeKalb, IL, home of Northern Illinois University, 60 miles west of Chicago. If the film pre-sells at least 45 more tickets, it will take place on Thurs. February 26 at 7:30 p.m. No one is charged for the $10 ticket until the screening tips. This film is not just for Scouts fans. Anyone with an appreciation for drum corps and the marching arts will enjoy this film. I have seen a rough cut and it looks and sounds great. The screening will take place in the historic, restored Egyptian Theatre in downtown DeKalb, home to many nice restuarants, bars, and shopping. Please consider supporting local business, independent filmmakers, and the marching arts activity by attending this screening! Gigantic Cranium
Check out this video movie review from recent "Spirit of Atlanta" age-out, David Haven. He's better know as jdfuncorps, and posts drum corps related videos to over 16k subscribers on his YouTube channel.... Drum Corps: The Movie?? David has been hired by the Boston Crusaders to be on their media team for the 2015 DCI tour.
