mr.mello
I could get behind a show using Nobuo Uematsu's music. Hasn't been one since Blue Stars 2005 and Impulse 2007.

Grogo
I would like to see Carolina Crown or Bluecoats do David Holsingers' "In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war" as a full show. jjeffeory
I would like to see Carolina Crown or Bluecoats do David Holsingers' "In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war" as a full show. You mean the show that Cadets won with in 1993? Yea, that would be cool to do again with a modern twist. I think Crown would be the better fit. jjeffeory
Someone really needs to jump on: "Scenes From Melville" based on "Of Sailors and Whales" composed by Francis McBeth. A high school band did this in '91 and it totally rocked.
jwscv87
I really wish someone would do a complete show based upon the first Tubular Bells album by Mike Oldfield.

A GREAT piece!
jjeffeory
That was on the band I arrange for's short list a few times... A GREAT piece! Absolutely! I was checking the tube.... I see that other bands have done some of it more recently in 2004, 2005, & 2008. Still, WS '91 is probably more of a "drum corps" arrangement. I don't really know who would perform it. Cadets, Blue Stars, or SCV maybe? To me, it sounds similar to Holsinger's compositional style. corps8294
The Blue Knights are about due for another round of Trittico again! If they play that, they'll rise in the ranks! Edited September 20, 2011 by shortn'sour
