Cadevilina Crown
Speaking of "slow build" pieces that a corps should do, I recently discovered this relatively unknown song by Stevie Wonder that would be amazing if arranged well as a ballad/closer. But that's just IMO. By that logic nearly any corps could pull it off. Plenty of corps out there that are doing long full builds in their ballads. Bluecoats and Blue Devils are just some examples. DCI-DadJokes
A decent arranger could make this really work as a modern ballad for sure. Guardians, or someone like that on the R&B cutting edge front. Maybe even Bloo? Thoughts? ohwiseone
This is my yearly request that someone do Symphony Fantasique on the field (again). Also, Star Trek First Contact Theme from Goldsmith, would make a beautiful ballad.
