Lance
a pretty nice rendition of a haunting piece by trent reznor that a good arranger could do some good things with:

Weaklefthand4ever
As much as I am not a huge fan of Hans Zimmer, there's a really good ballad in here: https://youtu.be/QiiSFFg68TU

I had a voice teacher in college named Lynn Holdalski. She told me once that I had more natural talent than anyone she knew, but the work ethic of a slug. I'm pretty sure that was my music career summed up lol. Edited April 1, 2020 by Weaklefthand4ever
N.E. Brigand
http://www.dcxmuseum.org/index.cfm?view=search&song=Mutiny on the Bounty So a bunch of corps in 1963-64, and a few years since then, played what DCX lists as "Mutiny on the Bounty" by David Cooke. What is that? The score for the famous 1935 film, starring Charles Laughton and Clark Gable, was by Herbert Stothart. There was a 1962 film, starring Trevor Howard and Marlon Brando, and this is what I would have guessed corps in the years immediately following to have played, but that film was scored by Bronislau Kaper (whom DCX lists as the composer for Colt Cadets' 2011 use of "Mutiny on the Bounty"). And there is no composer named David Cooke listed on IMDB. Was there a "Bounty" band or orchestral composition by someone of that name? Here's the full list from DCX, in case it helps jog any memories: Corps Name Year Song Composer Amboy Dukes 1963 Love Theme (from Mutiny On The Bounty) David Cooke Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights 1963 Mutiny on the Bounty David Cooke Connecticut Hurricanes 1963 Mutiny on the Bounty David Cooke Royal Airs 1963 Mutiny on the Bounty David Cooke St. Paul Scouts 1963 Love Theme (from Mutiny On The Bounty) David Cooke University AL Post #11 1963 Mutiny on the Bounty David Cooke Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights 1964 Mutiny on the Bounty David Cooke C.C. Is this like one of those false entries that sometimes get put into reference books to make it easier to track people who plagiarize from them? I searched all credits on IMDb for both film versions, as well as Google, the only hits I had were references to the SCVC wiki page that states the same composer. Weird.
