Ghost
I admit that only music can do this to me. Very seldom does family, friends, news stories, etc. do it, but music will time and again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqVRcFQagtI&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR30f2FU3FoA1-c1niOQnbLyiXGGNbF3C6AGGDO0z2cU1mx4Dw28nSCuP9w

And I would seriously entertain arguments in favor of John Williams as the greatest living composer.

He's one of those great composer's where his film scores seem like they could not have been written any better.
IllianaLancerContra
Although we will never see it, the idea of Velvet Knights doing a show called "Shark Week" warms the cockles of my heart.... 1

There's a pop/rap song that hit #1 in 2012 and includes "Shark Week" in the lyrics, plus a catchy brass interlude.
N.E. Brigand
A singer-songwriter named Emitt Rhodes died today at the age of 70. I'd never heard of him before, though he was apparently highly esteemed by discerning music lovers, with a sound in his early career very much Beatles influenced, but he never broke through. Listening to a number of his songs today, some are quite catchy and perhaps adaptable to drum corps.
kdaddy
Blue Stars played a little snippet of Le Tombeau de Couperin in 2008, but there are so many more melodies in there...
