kdaddy
Cool slow tune that's very Rach, written when he was 19.
Weaklefthand4ever
I think it's been long enough since Huawei's AI finished Schuberts 8th that it could be viable for a corps like PR. If you haven't listened to it, with a few exceptions, the AI did a pretty #### good job.
Brian Tuma
It might be time for another aviation show. This time with a British twist. The Spitfire. The men who flew it and the women who built it. https://youtu.be/i4zk3dHZ11w

So a couple old pop tunes that I think would be great fits for ballads. The former has an Academy/Unchained Melody feel, while the latter is up BK's alley. great songs that could lend themselves to some great shows i'm actually amazed "smoke gets in your eyes" hasn't been done already. that would be a really nice alto solo, and Klesch and other great arrangers could make chorales out of almost any phrase in that song. kdaddy
I watched a youtube performance of Bryce Dessner's (of The National) violin concerto. It's not the Sibelius... But it got me going down a rock-musician-writing-classical wormhole, and this suite from There Will Be Blood came up. It's by Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, and my local orchestra was supposed to perform it in spring 2020 before the pandemic. Some really cool drum corps-worthy themes in there... kdaddy
This is fun and has some ear hooks that could maybe serve as an interlude to transition between movements...
