Be great if next year Boston did a whole show with Franki Valli and The Four Seasons music !!!!

Jersey Surf is doing almost that this year,  and it is more fitting since the 4 seasons were from Jersey

Ok. Has anyone done a good hair band power ballad?

This gem came up on iTunes and I was thinking, “Hmm. That could open with the pit and a soloist then have the whole line come in for the build and hit. Then the key shift at the end could be a real moment leading to the big hit. Then transition back to a soloist for the falsetto Freddy Curci does to close.”

This link is to “St. Magnus” by Yorkshire Building Society brass band at the 2004 European championship.  Winning performance. Last section from 10:00 to the end would make a great closer.

I can see this fitting PR or SCV style. Crown certainly has the chops to play it.

A friend of mine had their first exposure to this internet gem today....

And since it's drum corps season my first thought was...

Presenting their 2024 show, "I Am Your Grandma" DCI is embarrassed to present....

Xavier Cugat has some absolute burners, and I'm amazed DCI hasn't tackled "El Cumbanchero" or "Jungle Rhumba"
