The "Music Corps Should Do" thread

Recommended Posts

The first track on that Abel Selaocoe is awesome.  Love most of that album, but that track is really neat to me.

And that whole Goat Rodeo Sessions album is terrific as well.  I love bluegrass.  The track "Quarter Chicken Dark" would be fantastic for a tuba feature.

Just heard this new release of Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis conducted by John Wilson. A great tune that shockingly hasn't been played in world class. This interpretation is pretty speedy.

Am I taking credit for Boston's repertoire and on-field success this year? Yes.

Wait, Boston's doing it?  About time!.  It's super rubato with tempo so it's a tough one to arrange for corps, imo.  and where the f do you breathe in the big sections lol.

cannot wait to see how it turns out.

Find me a better "bring the house down" final 30 seconds of a ballad that could top this on the field, and I'll be happy.

Then go back and listen to the whole thing and tell me why every single phrase couldn't work.  That could be a dirty horn solo live.
