2muchcoffeeman
A tragic day in the Long Blue Line. A young father-to-be, mother-to-be and their unborn child were lost in an auto accident in Texas on Friday.Perhaps in a way that only the drum corps family can, the Troopers are saluting Jon, his wife Jessica, and their child, reminding us that it is the bonds we form, the relationships we keep, the memories we make, the people we become, that are the most important part of this activity.Video is here. TroopAlum12
I never got to march with Jon, but I met him a few times because he continued to be a huge fan and supporter of the corps. Just a really good guy all around...someone who truly believed in the motto "Honor, Loyalty, and Dedication" and inspired others to do the same. The world has lost a true gem of a person. This has served as a reminder of the fragility of life, and also of how united the Long Blue Line is. >''<

Tim K
A very moving tribute for such a tragic loss. He seemed to have a number of Facebook friends who have reposted the photo of Jon and his wife. You can see in the photos as well as the video his natural love for life.
