Cavaliers Instrument Question.

Recommended Posts

yeah I made a mistake, it has a kicker (adjustable tuning slide) on the main tube of the horn to the bell. this tunes the whole instrument instead of having slides on the 1st and 3rd similar to the trumpet. as you can see by the picture it is the sprung slide

thanks, you're the one person to answer my actual question

Welcome to DCP :P Where everything you say will either be over-analyzed or taken the wrong way

Cavies are using Yamaha brass and percussion

So they would give you a YMP-204M

Or where you can actually use an emoticon provided by the board like this one: :tounge2: instead of the 1990's version of :P.

And what do you mean by "everything"? Are you saying that everything said by everyone (or EVERYONE) here is over-analyzed? I've seen lots of posts where comments are both over-analyzed AND taken the wrong way, so I'm certain that you're just here to insult people who love to talk about drum corps.

In fact, I saw a study once here that suggested...

Whatever; that same study was done MUCH better in the 80's (or insert older era of obvious superior quality here)
