Regardless, I believe SCV has not worn them on the field for the last 2-3 years at least. I believe they are allowed to wear them in retreat instead. Years ago age outs received their Green Feather prior to the Parade of Champions held in Northern Cal which took place well after DCI Finals (I recall getting mine while standing by the busses near the parade route), but at some point during the New Era the tradition shifted to Nationals week. I believe they are allowed to wear them in retreat instead. 2012 was the last year green feathers were worn for the Finals performance. In 2013, they switched it to during retreat.
