Fran Haring
You might check with the Couchmen. I enjoyed their "Endless Standstill" theme show last season.

cf144
You might check with the Couchmen. Nah - that would take too much effort. The heck with it.
VOReason
Don't sweat it to much. Most of the time, if you can put your left foot in front of the right, and your body temperature is 98.6, your in!

Spandy
mvbailey, I believe we may have met at one of the winter drumline shows; I remember you telling me about your two kids. If you're interested, I can send you a copy of the Chops hornline book. It has a range of exercises to cover lip slurs, articulations, fingerings, etc. Also, you are certainly welcome to come check out a rehearsal, even if you won't be able to march this season. Our next hornline camp is April 11/12.You can reach me by PM here or email spandy@chopsinc.com.
Prince Wills
The All Age Championship contenders ( Caballeros,Bucs,M Brass,Fusion,Cadets2) and others have shows that are DCI caliber quality. What this means is yes you need to be in reasonably good shape. That also goes for your abilities musically. If you have not played in a while, brass or drums,I suggest you begin to practice soon because these corps now attract very talented performers. If you have the chance, go and visit a rehearsal and get a feel for their programs and talk to the membership.I hope this helps and good luck.
